Throughout his entrepreneurial career, Mahmood has been actively involved in various facets of real estate investing, including property refurbishment, managing a rental portfolio, and conducting short sales. In 2011, Mahmood established Sena Capital, LLC, a company dedicated to investing in distressed residential mortgage debt. His adept management of multiple note-investing syndications under Sena’s banner paved the way for a role as the Managing General Partner of Highclere Group, LP, a prominent note-investing fund.

Prior to his ventures in real estate, Mahmood had a diverse entrepreneurial career, spanning from retail businesses to hospitality and healthcare. Mahmood’s commitment to professional growth is exemplified by his completion of an executive program in Private Equity at the Wharton School of Finance.

In addition to his real estate and mortgage note-trading background, Mahmood is highly regarded as a trusted consultant and strategist to note investors. Beyond his professional pursuits, Mahmood is an active volunteer in his community, serving as a mediator and arbitrator.
