Sena Capital, LLC was founded by Mahmood Motani. As an entrepreneur for most of his career, Mahmood has engaged in all aspects of real estate investing, such as refurbishing properties, owning a rental portfolio, and conducting short sales. In 2011, the company started to invest in residential mortgage notes. After managing several note-investing syndications under Sena, Mahmood was able to scale up the business to become Managing General Partner of Highclere Group, LP, a note investing fund. Previously, Mahmood also directed business development and revenue growth of the family-owned hotel and nursing home. He has also completed an executive program on Private Equity from the Wharton School of Finance. Aside from his entrepreneurial, real estate, and note-trading experiences, Mahmood is also a volunteer community mediator and arbitrator.
